Using the Olympus Warrior Fitness Course AUT Millenium will design a programme specifically for your school including challenges such as;
- Balancing - using small objects.
- Manoeuvring while using different grips for both hands and feet.
- Connectivity exercises using the mind to react quickly.
- Climbing and swinging using the correct muscle groups to prevent injury.
- Mobility through all joints to assist with strength and protection around the major ball joints.
- Competitions and races.
The Olympus Warrior Course has been developed with the Athlete Development team at AUT Millennium, specifically Coaches Patrick Davenport and Yash Krishna.

ABOUT AUT MILLENNIUM – ATHLETE DEVELOPMENT
Athlete Development is a business unit of AUT Millennium who work specifically with youth populations. Our mission is to equip all young people with the skills and abilities to participate and achieve in a range of physical activities and sports with confidence and vigor. We offer a range of services which help us achieve this:
Academy – A before school youth-appropriate strength and conditioning programme (8-18 y/o’s)
Holiday Academy – A school holiday programme for youth who are after a more athletically inclined option (9-15 y/o’s)
Teams – Comprehensive Strength and Conditioning coaching and support for school/club teams(12yrs +)
Workshops – Educational workshops hosted here at AUT Millennium OR at a school/club which can cover all things strength and conditioning, sports-science/physical education, mental skills training, or we can work with groups to build bespoke options.
Youth Movement Project – Our take on what we think P.E. should look like for Primary School students (currently Year 4-8 only). This is term-by-term movement programme we’ve designed to help youth become more confident and resilient through meaningful play and physical activity.
The intention of this programme is also to provide it fully funded through grants for schools who are unable to afford it themselves
Custom Fitness Trail Design
Fitness trails can be designed to suit a range of ages from Primary to Intermediate and Secondary school students. They are not only a fun addition to any playground but help students improve both mental and physical wellbeing, building strength in areas such as the upper body, core, grip, joints and also enhancing flexibility.
Olympus Warrior Course
The Ultimate Outdoor Strength and Conditioning Course. The Olympus Warrior Course has been developed with the Athlete Development team at AUT Millennium. The Olympus Warrior Course is a terrific addition to any physical development.

We like to learn more about you, and your community. We will ask some questions, discuss your ideas, and get to know each other.
ONSITE MEETING
Once we have an idea of what you are after, our playground experts will come and meet you to view the proposed site. At this meeting we discuss your dreams and ideas to find out exactly what you require and also offer our knowledge on progressive playgrounds for
overall child development.
DESIGN BRIEF WRITTEN
With our onsite visit complete, we can now brief our design team on your playground design. This is where we capture all the ideas, dreams, and practicalities into one place for the next stage in our process.
PLAYGROUND DESIGN
Our team take your brief and begin the process of turning it into reality.
This is a process that involves deep technical knowledge, design skills and a love of what we do: designing inspiring, imaginative, fun and exciting playgrounds for children.
PROPOSAL, QUOTE, FUNDING
With the design complete we provide you with a detailed proposal and quotation for your consideration and feedback. Our process is consultative so at any time we are happy to discuss your feedback.
MANUFACTURING
All our playgrounds are manufactured in New Zealand at our Auckland factory to your specific requirements. We stop at nothing to ensure the quality of your completed playground. Our New Zealand supply chain ensures we provide you with the best possible playground available.
INSTALLATION
We can offer complete Project Management during the installation phase of your playground – ground works, shade, playground equipment and surfacing.
GRAND OPENING
A NEW playground is an exciting event in the life of a community so for this reason we are on hand to help you arrange the grand opening of your brand-new playground.
